United Autosports continue to set the pace at Spa-Francorchamps with the Anglo-American team taking the top two places on the time sheets in Free Practice 2 at Spa-Francorchamps.
The no32 Oreca was the fastest car on track with a 2m03.325, just over a tenth of a second faster than the best time set in FP1 yesterday. The no22 Oreca was second fastest, half a second behind their teammates. The no30 Duqueine Team was third quickest, 1.3 seconds behind the no32 United Autosports Oreca, with Idec Sport in 4th with a 2m05.016 lap.
Reigning LMP3 champions Euro International were quickest in the class with Nico Kari posting a 2m14.755 lap, over a second slower than the best time set in FP1 yesterday.Nielsen Racing was second quickest in FP2, with Colin Noble posting a 2m15.007, four tenths ahead of the no8 Realteam Racing Ligier of David Droux.
The no77 Proton Competition Porsche once again set the in LMGTE with Alessio Picariello setting a 2m18.604 lap, half a second faster than the best time in FP1.The no98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage was second fastest, 0.149s behind the Porsche and six tenths ahead of the no60 Iron Lynx Ferrari.
Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will take place this afternoon at 14h30 CET.
