Gregoire Saucy and his Richard Mille by TDS teammates Mathias Beche and Rodrigo Sales won the 4 Hours of Mugello last month to put themselves back in contention for the 2024 LMP2 Pro/Am Driver and Team titles this weekend in Portimao.
The LMP2 Pro/Am title race is very tight, with the no83 AF Corse leading with 86 points, just two ahead of the no29 Richard Mille by TDS crew, with the no20 Algarve Pro Racing just 8 points behind the leaders on 78 points. A win for any of these three teams would put them at the head of the championship standings after the race on Saturday.
