The 30-minute session qualifying session for the LMP2 and LMGT3 categories saw two red flags with the session finishing four minutes early due to the second stoppage.

Louis Deletraz was the quickest of the 17 cars to secure his position in tomorrow evening’s Hyperpole sessions, the Swiss driver setting a 3m35.472 in the no199 AO by TF, 0.185s ahead of the no23 United Autosports of Ben Hanley.

The top 12 cars would be automatically qualifying for the Hyperpole sessions, with the no45 Algarve Pro Racing, no29 TDS Racing, no22 United Autosports, no48 VDS Panis Racing, no25 Algarve Pro Racing, no43 Inter Europol Competition, no28 IDEC Sport, no16 RLR MSport, no183 AF Corse and no37 CLX Pure Rxcing, all joining the no199 AO by TF and no23 United Autosports in tomorrow’s Hyperpole 1 session at 20h00 tomorrow evening.

The three ELMS cars taking part in the LMGT3 session all failed to qualify in the top 12 to go through to tomorrow’s Hyperpole.

The no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Takeshi Kimura finished the session in 15th place, the no63 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG didn’t take part in the session due to the damage to the car following the accident in Free Practice 1.

The no150 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari went off at MP11 with Custodio Toledo at the wheel.The Brazilian driver was OK, but a red flag was shown to end the session as the car was stranded in a dangerous position.
