Since joining the ELMS grid in 2020 Sophia Floersch has become an endurance driver of note with performances in the last three races in Portimão, Le Castellet and Imola that has made the rest of the paddock sit up and take notice.
The 21-year-old from Grünwald in Bavaria has really settled into her new team Algarve Pro Racing, with a third place in Portugal in the 2021 season finale which saw her become the first female driver in ELMS history to stand on the overall podium.Then, with Bent Viscaal, she finished second in the opening round of the 2022 season at Le Castellet and now has her sights firmly set on the top step of the podium.
As a leading driver in the world of endurance racing, Sophia has a legion of fans and is an inspiration and role model for the next generation of female drivers who want to follow in her footsteps.
