As the start of the 2021 season is getting closer and closer, let’s have a look at what happened last month on the European Le Mans Series planet:

43 cars on the 2021 grid. With 16 LMP2, 17 LMP3, 10 GTE and some famous names from Motorsport such as Robert Kubica, Will Stevens, Phil Hanson or from Hollywood with Michael Fassbender. The action promises to be packed!
Villorba Corse will make its return to the ELMS the season with the n°18 Ligier JS P320. Alessandro Bressan is the first driver that have been announced.
Nielsen Racing will enter the 2021 season with 2 Ligier JS P320 that will have a brand new look! What do you think of this golden livery?
Robert Kubica, former F1 GP winner, will make his debut in European Le Mans Series this season at the wheel of the n°41 Team WRT Oreca 07: “I am very happy to join Team WRT for what is a new chapter in my career and a new challenge also for the team. We will discover together many new things, in a series with a very strong and competitive field, made of talented contenders. It will be my first full season in endurance racing, sharing the car with teammates, something I discovered a few days ago at Daytona, and I look forward to start working with the team, at the factory and on the track. The whole project is tremendously motivating, and I want to warmly thank Vincent (Vosse), who pushed very hard to make this happen.”
The 2021 season will start in Barcelona, on the 18th of April, with the ELMS teams and drivers discovering the brand-new Turn 10, the circuit currently undergoing some changes to improve this part of the track.
