1. United Autosports announced some of its 2021 drivers in LMP2 and LMP3: Phil Hanson and Job Van Uitert will return to the Anglo-American team in 2021. The reigning LMP2 ELMS champion, Phil Hanson, will lead the n°22 Oreca 07.

Job Van Uitert, will be once again at the wheel of the n°32 Oreca 07. He will drive alongside Manuel Maldonado, who will make his debut in European Le Mans Series and with the team this season.

Manuel Maldonado: “I am extremely proud to be joining United Autosports for the 2021 European Le Mans Series. It is now time for me to start a very exciting new chapter in my career and to be doing so with a top tier team like United couldn’t be better. The motivation is high, and I can only wish to be adding more success to their tally. Racing in the Asian Le Mans Series is crucial to starting my endurance preparation as there is so much to learn in this new world of prototype endurance racing for me. I think that this is a great opportunity to get ready for the European season. The ELMS will be exciting with a very competitive field and an amazing car, which the LMP2 is, but I believe we have the right line up and package to aim for high results straight away. I can’t wait to get the season started.”

1. Jim McGuire, Duncan Tappy and Andrew Bentley will also be back in ELMS this season at the wheel of the n°3 United Autosports Ligier JS P320.

2. Racing Team Turkey will make its ELMS debut in 2021 in the LMP2 class, supported by the UK-Based team TF Sport. FIA WEC LMGTE AM vice-champions Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood will be joined by 2016 ELMS champion Harry Tincknell.
