A brand-new trophy will be awarded for the first time this weekend to the winning LMP2 team. Standing at 1.12 metres and weighing 25kg, the ELMS LMP2 Teams Trophy is engraved with the names of the previous winners from 2013 to 2023.
This annual trophy will be awarded to the LMP2 champion at the end of each season and held by the winning team until the first race of the following year.
Three teams - AO by TF, Inter Europol Competition and Panis Racing - can still win the 2024 LMP2 title at the end of the 4 Hours of Portimão, meaning that a new name will be added to the ELMS Roll of Honour this year.
