MV2S Racing will continue its progress up the endurance ladder by entering the 2021 European Le Mans Series
After a first season in the LMP3 category in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, MV2S Racing will enter a Ligier JS P320 in the ELMS. The aim is to continue to progress while trying to play a leading role among the top teams on the grid.
For the second consecutive year, Christophe Cresp will be the leader of the team. Fabien Lavergne, ELMS 2019 Champion in LMGTE, will be alongside him full time and will also take on the role of Managing Director. A new face will join the team in the person of Adrien Chila who knows the LMP3 category well as he won Road To Le Mans in 2019.
Fabien Lavergne: “I’m delighted with this commitment in ELMS. It is the beginning of a great adventure in this fantastic championship which is in my opinion the most challenging in the world and which I had the chance to win two years ago. I’m very happy to be able to come back as a driver alongside Christophe and Adrien. I think the race format will suit Christophe much better, with a different tyre and fuel management from the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Adrien, who is both fast and reliable, will be a real added value for the team . We are in the process of setting up a solid technical team and I am sure we will be able to achieve great things.”
Christophe Cresp: “I’m delighted to continue this great adventure in Endurance and to start in ELMS with this fantastic Ligier JS P320. I’m lucky to be able to share the wheel again with Fabien Lavergne and now Adrien Chila, two very experienced, efficient and friendly drivers.
