The no88 AF Corse Ferrari of Francois Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard and Alessio Rovera got their 2021 ELMS campaign off to a perfect start in Austria after missing the race in Barcelona with a maximum 26 points at the Red Bull Ring.
Rovera brought the Ferrari 488 GTE home at the end of the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring 1 lap ahead of the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari of Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin and David Perel, with the no80 Iron Lynx Ferrari of Round 1 winners Matteo Cressoni, Rino Mastronardi and Miguel Molina in third.
The weather certainly played its part in the result with a heavy rain storm half way through the race causing the teams to change their tyre strategy as the track conditions altered dramatically.
