On the evening before the first day of track action for the 4 Hours of Imola, Round 2 of the European Le Mans Series, key Italian media from the local area were invited to a special Meet the ELMS briefing.
Cedric Vilatte, ELMS Event Manager, was joined by Formula Imola Chairman Uberto Selvatico Estense and Italian drivers Davide Rigon (AT Racing) and Roberto Lacorte (Villorba Corse) for an introduction to the European Le Mans Series, the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup and Renault Sport Trophy RS01, the three series racing at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari this weekend.
Track action begins today with the first practice sessions getting underway this morning with Renault Sport Trophy at 09h30 and GT3 Le Mans Cup at 10h40. Free Practice One for the European Le Mans Series will begin at 14h40 this afternoon.
