Following the announcement that Job Van Uitert of the United Autosports Team has tested positive for COVID-19 at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza ahead of the 4 Hours of Monza, LMEM can confirm that result is positive after the confirmation procedure.
In accordance with the Chief Medical Officer advice, Job Van Uitert has entered self-quarantine and will follow the procedure mandated by the national health authorities.
With assistance of the local organiser of 4 Hours of Monza and the local health authorities a full track and trace initiative has been undertaken and the team member’s sub-group have been quarantined.
The procedures implemented have provided for swift containment of an incident that is unlikely to have wider impact on this weekend’s event.
