After the 4 Hours of Aragon, the European Le Mans Series has reached the halfway point of the season with three races in Belgium and Portugal remaining.

LMP2

After finishing a disappointing 6th at Motorland Aragon, the Duqueine Team is still leading the LMP2 championship, but the French team’s lead has been cut to just 1-point and just 15-points covering the top six cars.

The 4 Hours of Barcelona winners Neel Jani, Nico Pino and Rene Binder head to Spa-Francorchamps on 51 points, while 4 Hours of Le Castellet winners Alex Lynn, James Allen and Kyffin Simpson are just one point behind in the no25 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca with 35 points after finishing third from the back of the grid in Aragon.

The no28 IDEC Sport Oreca finished second in Aragon and Paul Loup Chatin, Paul Lafargue and Laurents Hörr move up to third in the championship table on 43 points. 4 Hours of Aragon race winners Phil Hanson, Marino Sato and Oliver Jarvis move up to 4th in the standings in the no22 United Autosports USA Oreca-Gibson on 40 points, with the no65 Panis Racing and no47 COOL Racing Orecas on 38 points and 36 points respectively.

LMP2 Pro/Am

Victory at the 4 Hours of Aragon and a lowly 9th place finish for the reigning champions Racing Team Turkey, propelled the no83 AF Corse Oreca to the head of the LMP2 Pro/Am standings. Francois Perrodo and Matthieu Vaxiviere head to Belgium on 58 points, 3 points ahead of Round 1 and Round 2 winners Salih Yoluc, Charlie Eastwood and Louis Deletraz in the no34 Racing Team Turkey Oreca.

The no24 Nielsen Racing Oreca moved up to third, with Ben Hanley, Mathias Beche and Rodrigo Sales on 42 points, 16 behind the lead car and 9 points ahead of the no37 COOL Racing Oreca, which failed to score in Aragon.

LMP3

A second win of the 2023 ELMS season for Adrien Chila, Alejandro Garcia and Marcos Siebert in the no17 COOL Racing Ligier-Nissan extends the Swiss teams lead to 26 points at the halfway point.

A DNF for the no31 Racing Spirit of Leman Ligier, has left Antoine Doquin and Jacques Wolff on 40 points in second place with the no12 WTM by Rinaldi Racing Duqueine moving up to third on 37 points thanks to a second-place finish in Spain for Leo Weiss, Oscar Tunjo and Torsten Kratz.

LMGTE

The no16 Proton Competition Porsche moved back to the head of the LMGTE standings after finishing second in Aragon. 4 Hours of Barcelona winners Ryan Hardwick, Zac Robichon and Alessio Picariello head to Spa-Francorchamps on 45 points, 2 points ahead of the no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari duo of Takeshi Kimura and Scott Huffaker on 43 points.

Round 2 winners Christian Ried, Julien Andlauer and Giammarco Levorato took 12 points for 4th in Aragon to hold third place in the championship table with 38 points in the no77 Proton Competition Porsche.

The no60 Iron Lynx Porsche drops from 1st to 4th in the standings with 36 points, one point ahead of the no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari on 35-points.
