Inter Europol Competition will compete in the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans as the reigning champions after winning the LMP2 category at the 100th Anniversary event last year. Jakub Smiechowski was part of that winning crew and will be joined for the 2024 race by ELMS regulars Vlad Lomko and Clement Novalak in the green and yellow liveried no34 Oreca-Gibson.
Today is the first day of the 2024 event, with the teams and drivers gathering in the centre of Le Mans for Le Pesage, two days of technical and administration checks.
Clement Novalak will make his 24 Hours of Le Mans race debut with the Polish team, with the French driver revelling in the atmosphere of this very unique event on the endurance calendar. We caught up with Novalak on Friday morning for a quick interview.
