At just 20-years-old Malthe Jakobsen is already one of the most experienced drivers on the ELMS grid. The 2022 ELMS LMP3 Drivers' Champion and reigning Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 Drivers' Champion the young Dane has certainly made his mark in Endurance Racing.
In 2022 Jakobsen became the first ever driver to score six pole positions from six attempts in a single season and in Barcelona last month he took his first overall ELMS win, which was also COOL Racings first ELMS LMP2 victory and the debut win for his teammates Lorenzo Fluxa and Ritomo Miyata on their ELMS debut.
Jakobsen has he sights firmly set on another good points haul here this weekend at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet and also that top step of the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans looks tantalisingly possible for him.
We caught up with Malthe Jakobsen as he prepares for the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.
