The 2019 European Le Mans Series begins this week at the Circuit Paul Ricard, with Round 1 of the season, the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, on Sunday 14 April.
To start the new season the entire 41 car ELMS grid formed up for the traditional group picture, which was held in a new location at the Circuit Paul Ricard, half way down the famous Mistral Straight. Each car had to be placed precisely in the correct position and after 60 minutes the grid was ready for the picture to be taken.
The first ELMS race event of the 2019 season is preceded by two days of testing today and tomorrow, with the first day of action of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet on Friday 12 April.
