Three cars from the European Le Mans Series and three from the Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends took to the track on Thursday evening for one lap of the Monza circuit to celebrate the first time the two series have run on the same weekend together.
It was also a chance to see the cars that used to compete in the European Le Mans Series alongside their modern counterparts. The no8 LMP1 Peugeot 90X, the no69 Ferrari 458 GTE and the no74 Oreca 03 LMP2 represented the Masters Endurance Legends while the ELMS was represented by the no30 Duqueine Engineering Oreca 07-Gibson, the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari F488 GTE EVO and the no26 G-Drive Racing Aurus 01-Gibson.
