The second Free Practice session of the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps weekend was declared wet after rain had fallen on the track, with lap times reflecting the change in track conditions from yesterdays FP1.

However, a flurry of faster times as the track dried towards the end of the session saw a number of cars vying for the top spot in all three classes.

With less than a minute to the chequered flag the no34 Racing Team Turkey Oreca went to the top of the time sheets as Charlie Eastwood posted a 2m07.756 lap, 0.151 ahead of the no47 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca of Alexander Peroni.

The no43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca was third quickest on 2m08.636 with the no65 Panis Racing Oreca just 0.037s slower in 4th.

The no17 Cool Racing Ligier of Malthe Jakobsen headed the LMP3 class, the Dane setting a benchmark of 2m16.669, which was 1.7 seconds better than the next car, the no3 United Autosports Ligier.

The no93 Proton Competition Porsche 911 RSR-19 was the quickest of the LMGTE runners after Zach Robichon posted a 2m20.507 lap in the drying conditions. The Canadian was over 1.5 seconds faster than the second placed LMGTE car, the no69 Oman Racing with TF Sport Aston Martin on 2m22.057, which was just 0.051s ahead of the no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari at the end of the 90-minute session.

Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will start at 14h25 today.
