This week at Motorland Aragon the first ever ELMS Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies will be held, with the 42 crews going up against the clock to find the fastest team in LMP2**, LMP3 and LMGTE.
On Thursday 24 August (12h30 to 13h30) each car entered in the competition will see three mechanics change all four tyres in the fastest possible time. The team will have just one opportunity against the clock, there is no practice run.
The teams that set the four best times in each category will go through to the semi-final on Friday (15h45). A draw will be held to choose the name of the teams who will go up against each other. The fastest of the two teams in each semi-final will go through to the final.
The top two teams will then go head-to-head to determine who will claim the claim the ELMS Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies title, one champion in each category, with a podium ceremony being held for the victorious crews, where a special trophy will be awarded and each mechanic in the winning crew will receive a 100€ fuel card.
The Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies will be broadcasted Live on the ELMS YouTube channel at 15h45.
** LMP2 and LMP2 Pro/Am will classed as the same category for this competition.
