The first big event on the endurance racing calendar takes place this weekend in Florida with the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the opening round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Taking part are some of the top stars from the ELMS, with champions and race winners amongst the entries for this year’s race.
ELMS Champions Filipe Albuquerque and Louis Deletraz will be taking part in the GTP category, while ELMS race winners Will Stevens, Nico Pino, Nick Yelloly and Julien Andlauer will also be competing in the top class.
There are 13 LMP2 entries with ELMS regulars United Autosports, TDS Racing, AF Corse, AO Racing and Inter Europol Competition taking part.
Reigning ELMS champions Charles Milesi, PJ Hyett and Dane Cameron will be competing as will former champions Job Van Uitert, Malthe Jakobsen, Nicklas Nielsen, Jonny Edgar, François Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxiviere, Ferdinand Habsburg, Jon Farano and Harry Tincknell.
The LMP2 entry also includes ELMS front runners Ben Hanley, Jakub Smiechowski, Alex Quinn, Manuel Espírito Santo, Tom Dillmann, Oliver Jarvis, Enzo Fittipaldi and Pietro Fittipaldi.
The 15 strong GTD Pro class also features several ELMS drivers, including past champions Miguel Molina, Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alessio Rovera, Alessio Picariello and Andrea Calderelli.
The largest class in the field for Daytona is the GTD category with 21 entries. Reigning LMP2 Champion Esteban Masson will race a Lexus RC F GT3 and reigning LMGT3 Champion Charlie Eastwood will race a Corvette Z06. Former ELMS Champions Salih Yoluc, Yifei Ye, Zac Robichon and Tom Gamble also taking part, with ELMS race winner Lilou Wadoux driving for AF Corse USA.
