The fastest pit crews in the European Le Mans Series have been found in the final of the 2025 Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies this evening at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
In a thrilling semi final the top four crews in LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 went head-to-head with the two fastest times in each class putting the team through to the final.
In LMP2 a new name will be on the trophy as two-time winners IDEC Sport finished 4th, with Iron Lynx-Proton and VDS Panis Racing going through.
In LMP3 two-time champions Ultimate secured their place in the final alongside fellow French team M Racing, while Kessel Racing would definitely be the winners in LMGT3 as the no74 and no57 crews both went through to the final.
In the battle of the Kessel Racing crews it was Maxime Esteve, Daniele Rainoldi and Mattia Ieni who changed all four wheels on the no74 Ferrari 296 in just 12.7 seconds, with their teammates Alessandro Franci, Manuel Pizzutto and Thomas Rampoldi changing the tyres in 12.920s, just 0.22 seconds from victory.
The LMP3 trophy was won for the third time in a row by Ultimate with Nikolas Lemee, Thibaud Daste and Pierre Carpuat changing all four tyres on the no35 Ligier JS P325 in 16.605 seconds, 1.395s faster than the crew of the no68 M Racing Ligier, Romain Bernard, Corentin Simon and Evan De Matos.
In the LMP2 final it was the VDS Panis Racing crew of Nicolas Letendard, Christophe Vicente and Flavien Baury who lifted the trophy on the podium with a 15.310 pit stop, 3.3 seconds faster than the Iron Lynx-Proton crew of Gilles Dieryck, Denis Dibenedetto and Stefano Sosio.
The winning crews from each clash stood on the top step of the podium with their trophies, with each receiving a TotalEnergies fuel card to the value of 150€.
