Hartshorne, Adam and Chaves Team Up at TF Sport for 2022 Season

TEAM NEWS: John Hartshorne will once again compete in both the Asian Le Mans Series, and the European Le Mans Series** in a TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage GTE. This season Hartshorne will be joined by two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Jonny Adam, and GT World Challenge Europe champion, Henrique Chaves for the TF Sport-run programmes.

Both Hartshorne and Adam ran in sister cars at last year’s double-headers at Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and will again, utilise the Asian Le Mans Series to prepare for the full ELMS calendar, but this time alongside silver-graded Chaves.

New to the team Chaves, has had his fair-share of successes in GT3, winning the 2020 International GT Open and the 2021 GT World Challenge Europe titles, but the 2022 ELMS entry will be his first season in GTE machinery.

Circuit Paul Ricard will host the European Le Mans Series season-opener on April 17. Following that, the championship will visit Imola, Hungaroring, Barcelona and Spa-Francorchamps, before the finale on October 16 at Portimão.

I’m confident that together with John,Jonny and TF Sport we are able to achieve very good results in Asian Le Mans Series as well as in ELMS and it is just a bonus to have the chance to finish the season in Portimão in front of my home crowd.”

Jonny Adam, Platinum driver -“Can’t wait to get back to racing in the Asian Le Mans Series. The perfect time of year to get back behind the wheel and it will make for perfect preparation for ELMS come the start of the European season. I’m super happy to rejoin TF Sport in their Aston Martin Vantage GT3/GTE prepared cars and to partner with John Hartshorne and Henrique Chaves. I feel we can have some great results in 2022 in both championships.”
