The Swiss driver, who races for Proton Competition in the Hypercar category in the FIA WEC this season, will join regular drivers Laurents Hörr and Georgios Kolovos for the season finale.

The other change to the entry list is the withdrawal of the no37 CLX-Pure Rxcing Oreca-Gibson from the LMP2 entry after 2024 FIA WEC LMGT3 Champion Aliaksandr Malykin suffered an injury in a GT World Challenge race that will keep him from competing in Portimão.

This means the LMP2 category will have 12 entries and there will be 43 cars on the grid for the final race of the 2025 European Le Man Series in Portugal on Saturday 18 October.
