2023 ELMS LMP3 Vice Champion Adam Ali has been putting all the lessons the Canadian has learned last year to good use and is currently top of the LMP3 points standings alongside his Eurointernational teammate Matthew Richard Bell with two races remaining.
So far this year the team have taken three podiums, including two wins in Imola and Spa-Francorchamps and is leading the title race by 14 points.
So how would Adam Ali sum up the season so far?“The high point of the season would certainly be our win at home in Imola”, he said. “We entered the race fifth in the championship and needed a strong result to stay in contention. So, not only securing the first victory of the season there but also taking the lead in the championship was quite special.
“The low of the season was at Paul Ricard. We led for most of the event, but an untimely safety car allowed three cars to make one less fuel stop than us, taking away a sure win.”
