The circuit: At 5.771km the full circuit offers a great combination of fast, flowing corners, technical sections and the long Mistral Straight with the ultra-fast Signes Corner at the end.The circuit also doesn’t have the traditional gravel traps, but wide run offs with high grip painted lines to slow any wayward cars down.

In 2020, due to the Covid 19 pandemic when the race in Spain was cancelled due to restrictions, Le Castellet became the first circuit to host two events in the same season. The 4 Hours of Le Castellet was held on Sunday 19 July 2020, with the Le Castellet 240, a night race, being held a month later on Saturday 29 August.

The 2024 4 Hours of Le Castellet will be the 13th race held at the Circuit Paul Ricard since 2013.
