Jonas Ried will be making his 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 debut this weekend with Proton Competition. The 19-year-old German made his Le Mans debut in 2023, racing a Proton Competition Porsche, but this season the team with an illustrious record in LMGTE at Le Mans will makes it's LMP2 and Hypercar debut.
Ried, whose father Christian will be coming out of retirement to race one of the three LMGT3 Ford Mustang's run by Proton Competition, is looking for a strong run at Le Mans after two disappointing races in the ELMS so far this season.
We caught up with Jonas Ried on Saturday morning at Le Pesage in the centre of Le Mans ahead of tomorrow's official test day.
