The second edition of the ELMS Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies will take place this weekend in Imola, with the LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 teams going head-to-head to see who can be the quickest to change all four wheels.
The first round will take place at 18h00 today, with the final taking place for the top 4 teams from each of the three class on Friday evening at 17h15.
Each team nominate three people to form the pit stop crew and a full entry list can be found HERE.
Each team are allowed two wheel guns, with the car resting on its wheels before the event begins.Each team member must wear gloves, a helmet and goggles but they are not required to wear fireproofs or balaclavas.
All mechanics and equipment must be behind the 2.5 m white line.A 10-second countdown will be given before the starting horn.
The timer will be stopped when all mechanics and equipment are back behind the 2.5 m white line and the car back on all four wheels.
The first event was run at the 2023 4 Hours of Aragon, withIDEC Sport, Ultimate and GMB Motorsport proving to be victorious after a thrilling battle against the clock to be crowned the Pit Stop Challenge by TotalEnergies champions for LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE respectively.
